Story Time

I took Andrew to story time again at the library. This is only the second time he has gone, and last week he enjoyed himself but didn't want to take an active role, until playtime. This week, he tried to do all the movements to all the nursery rhymes (I LOVE watching him try and do Itsy Bitsy Spider...his spider is too cute), he clapped after every rhyme and story, he said the animals in the open-flap book, etc.

I thought he was older than all the other kids, but today some of the Moms were talking about the ages of their kids. Most of them are within a month or two of Andrew's age. Andrew is actually BIG compared to these kids. Never thought I would see the day.....

I love seeing him get more interactive with other kids. Thinking about starting MDO next year.

He gets very excited about the books. We get there early so he can check out some books. He doesn't even look at the books typically. He goes up and down every aisle and picks up some books and puts them in his bag. He DID get really excited when he grabbed a Curious George book. We ended up with quite a few "JO" (that is what he calls Curious George) books.
