Bad Spring Storm

We had our first big Spring storm last night. I woke up about 11:30 and saw lots of lightening, but it didn't really get bad until closer to 1.

I kept expecting Bryce and Andrew to come in our room, but they never did. The rain and (sounded like some small) hail were pounding straight on their window. They slept through it all, amazingly. Bryce got up this morning and said he got no sleep last night because of his ceiling fan (I guess it is making a noise). Yet, he was shocked when he saw it rained. Guess he got some sleep, because it stormed most of the night!

Everything around us seems fine. There was some damage in Baton Rouge where roofs were blown off buildings, no electricity, etc. Our electricity did not as much as flicker throughout the entire storm. If you know how often we DON'T have electricity, you would understand how amazing that is. It seems like if the wind blows hard we loose electricity here!

I guess Bryce has grown out of the scared of storms stage and if we are lucky Andrew won't grow into it! We are supposed to have more severe storms this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. They are saying the ones coming will likely be stronger than what we saw last night.
