Saturday - After Party

After Bryce's party Saturday, Paul took Aunt Mary for a tour. He dropped Lindsay and I off at the mall for a little shopping, since we are both pretty familiar with the area. It was pouring again!!! On the way home we stopped and got some KFC for dinner. We took it home and ate and got on our swimsuits. We went to the hotel that Paul's mom and aunt were staying at and spent the next couple of hours swimming. Lindsay worked with Caleb learning how to swim, Isaac floated around in a float and Bryce kept Paul on his toes jumping into the water. Paul would tell him to jump to him, and he would run further down the pool and then jump in. Paul would have to run (in the water) to try to get where Bryce was going to jump in, before he jumped.

We went home and Paul decided that Bryce needed some teasing! He went and cut Bryce's face out of the cake. He carried it out to Bryce and told him he was going to eat his face. Bryce had already gotten upset when he thought I was going to cut his picture, so when he saw this it upset him. Paul tried to make it better: "What part of your face do you want to eat?" he asked Bryce. "the ear." So Bryce ate the ear, Isaac and Caleb each got an eye, and Bryce at the mouth, the nose was poked out by Bryce's finger and Paul ate what was left.

After they finished the cake Bryce went in to see the cake. He was not happy when he saw the huge hole in the cake - and no face! The faces he was making were great - unfortunately I could not get good pics of them. When I was tucking him into bed, he grabbed his ears. I asked what was wrong, "Daddy ate my ear off. He ate all the monsters out of me!!" I was hoping that meant that he would be nice and good, but....
