Paul knew this month would be crazy at work because of some stuff they have going on that will mean a health and safety person there a lot, and as always someone on call.
Things are not going well with what they are doing, there are injuries and so now they have to have someone at the plant 24/7. That means H&S will not get any days off until the end of January. Paul was supposed to have off Friday :(
We were kind of concerned about what hours he would end up with. Can you imagine him trying to sleep during the day with all of our kids running around. Even if just Andrew was here...
He is working 5am-2pm shift. All the days he should have had off and won't will be given to him as vacation days. That will be nice when the baby comes! So, he got a decent shift (he will just have to go to bed an hour early) AND he still gets the days off. He will just have more than his three weeks vacation time this year. Softens the blow a little anyway!
At least he isn't out of town all the time!
