When You Live With a Monkey....

There are a few things to ALWAYS remember when you live with a monkey. Here is what I have learned so far:
ALWAYS put the bananas up first when putting groceries away!

Peels DO NOT stop monkeys from eating a banana!

OR - GIVE the monkey a banana to keep him busy while you put the groceries away!

AND, monkeys are strong animals (I mean they do swing from trees)! Never stand close enough to ANYTHING that the monkey can grab hold of. When you try and walk away from that thing monkey is holding, you will be jerked back where that thing is BEFORE monkey lets go!
(this was our monkey when he was 7 months old - you can imagine how much stronger he has gotten in the past four months!

It is VERY hard to child proof a house when you live with a monkey. You would think you just need to child proof as tall as he is - NOT IN THIS HOUSE!! He CLIMBS on EVERYTHING! Bananas are NEVER safe in a house with a monkey!
