So, does it still count as having a meal together if you aren't all at a "table" together? I found some barstools on sale and got them. The boys LOVE them!! I do too. It is so much easier to clean up after them when they eat right next to the sink.
We are all in the kitchen together, just not at the table!

"Family meals" are wherever the family happens to be eating together. Nothing said about family table meals. Think of all those picnics that would be meaningless if they weren't cosidered family time.
