Isaac came home with a report because he would not rest at naptime. This is what his teacher wrote: "Issac (yes she misspelt his name) kept getting off his cot and talking to another consumer. I had to put him totally by himself."
When did our children become "consumers" at school? Unfortunatley, at this preschool he does not "consume" much when it comes to learning - because they don't seem to teach much!! From what I see and hear it is basically just play time. He would have been pulled a long time ago, but he was put in for social reasons, so that he could try and pick up some of the things they were teaching in therapy from being around other kids.
I am so happy he only has a few more weeks and then he will be starting a "real" school. Wait...I am not happy!! Well, maybe. Do post-pregnancy hormones cause undecisiveness - or does that just come with the territory of a Mom whose kids are growing up too fast?
