Paul and the boys did some fireworks yesterday. All was going well and then....Bryce decided to see if a sparkler was hot after it went out. Guess what...it is!! He has a small blister on his finger. Yes, this is our FIREMAN but as Papa pointed out most firemen are pyros, and if you are going to start fires you should no how to put them out!
Caleb is having some major attitude the last couple of days. When they did the fireworks yesterday, they did the day "stuff". They were going to go back out for the big stuff after I got Andrew calmed down and in bed. Well, Andrew was asleep and the boys came in screaming and yelling and woke him up. He decided he did not want to go back to sleep right then. After a while we told the boys to get ready for bed. Caleb got out of the shower and says "I wish Andrew wasn't even here so I could do fireworks!"
That was the last thing he got to say last night!
We had a discussion about that today.
Isaac had therapy this morning. He loves it right now because his therapist comes to the house. I make the other two play in their rooms while she is here and he LOVES that he gets to stay out and get the attention to himself!
Andrew slept 7 1/2 hours last night!! He moves a lot in his sleep - that is why he is no longer in my bed! His bassinet has phone books under one end (because of how much he spits up after he eats). I went to get him up this morning (after 7 1/2 hours I woke HIM up to eat) and he was on his back at the opposite end of the bassinet. He went to bed on his side with a teddy bear behind him and his little bear in his arms.
I got him a little lion that he absolutely loves to play with. It is so sad that he is growing up so quick. He is talking more and more everyday. I keep trying to get it on video, but it is like he knows when the camera is out, even if he doesn't see it. He will be talking and laughing and as soon as the camera gets turned off he stops. If he sees the camera - he just stares. Maybe one of these days I will get it!
We are going to Petit Jean this weekend. We got a three bedroom house close to the park. We are going a day early and staying at a hotel so the boys can swim. It is nice to have reward nights to use when you want to go swimming!! I wanted to go to an indoor pool so that my little red head doesn't have a chance of burning! I will get lots of pictures of the kids for the blog while we are out!! Have a good Fourth!
