I heard this story on the radio and think it tops the stupidest criminal list!!
A man walked into a Bank of America and wrote "Put all your cash into this bag." on the back of a deposit slip. He then went and stood in line to wait his turn. While standing in line he bagan to worry that someone may have seen him write the note and was afraid the police would be called before he even got his turn. So he left.
He went to the Wells Fargo bank across the street, and got into line. When it was his turn he handed the teller his note and bag. The teller says "I am sorry sir, but I cannot accept your stick up letter. It is on a Bank of America deposit slip so you will have to go back to Bank of America. Disappointed he said okay and left.
He was arrested a few minutes later in line at the Bank of America across the street!
HOW STUPID CAN PEOPLE REALLY BE?
