WHY?

Why do people let their 7, 5, and 2 year old run around from 8 am to 10 pm or later in a street - a street that is pretty busy - with absolutely NO supervision?

Why do the police do nothing about it when they are called because a 2 year old is found a block away getting on a very busy street with a really bad curve that people take too fast? They instead say that because someone went door to door until the parents were found, that they are not needed?

Why does CPS here think that a ten year old is capable of babysitting, and will charge them with neglect if someone files a claim and they find it to be true? Is ten years old really a good age to start leaving a child home alone and responsible for other children? My kids will be lucky if they get to stay home alone at 10 much less be babysitting!!!

There are so many things about this world today that just makes no since to me!!!
