Paul stayed home last night during Parents Night Out (instead of coming back to the hospital) to try and tackle the two weeks of VERY bad laundry we have. He was gathering laundry to take it all to the laundry mat, and had one load in the washer.
MY WASHER BROKE!!!
Could not have come at a worse time! I knew it was going out. It is OLD and I have been having to put laundry through a couple of times to get all of the water out of the clothes. But, when someone is trying to make a small dent in a bad laundry situation (one that really could not be avoided since noone has been home the past two weeks) - well, that is not really the time for your washer to be breaking!
So, he went and spent TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS at the laundry mat to wash all of the clothes. This on top of the expense that I need to buy new sheets for ALL of the boys (due to the food poisoning episodes where the sheets were to bad to save - and since the clothes have been sitting there for a week - I am REALLY glad we just threw them all away!!!) - this has turned into and expensive couple of weeks!
Oh, and did I mention in a previous post that Paul's muffler went out on his jeep when he was coming home to take Andrew to the hospital with me?
Keep piling it on!
