Takes So Little!!

We just got our first electric bill. This will give you a glimpse in my life - I am SO excited about our electric bill. In Arkansas, our electric bill usually ranged from $100-$300 a month (we had gas for cooking and heating). Our bill for one month here (yes, our electricity was out for almost a week)....DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....

$67!!!!!!

So, figure about $20 a week.

Just as in Arkansas, our cooking and heating, including water are gas. If anything we use more electricity because it is hotter here, so we use more ac.

I told you, it takes very little to make me excited - especially when it is about SAVING MONEY!!
