I feel like we have been moving for four months....
Oh wait...we have!
We went back to AR this weekend to move the rest of our stuff out of the house there. It was sad to move the rest of our stuff out and know someone else was moving in, but it is also nice to know that there will be no more trips to Arkansas for moving.
It was a VERY quick trip. We got there Friday night, wasted two hours Saturday morning with Uhaul, and got everything loaded and we were gone before noon. We were trying to beat Ike.
We did pretty good (although there was definently lots of wind) until about 40 minutes from the LA border. As soon as we got to Lake Village, AR, the winds got REALLY strong. The lake there made you feel as though you should be on it surfing. From there on, we had very strong winds the rest of the way. We tried to stay behind trucks as much as possible (helped with the wind and the gas mileage).
I feel like everytime I get the house about settled we bring MORE in. Everything that came back with us went straight to the garage storage and the attic. The mess is all about gone now, but still stuff to do!!
I am ready for life to CALM DOWN!!!
