Hopefully this has fixed the problem with Bryce sneaking out. I really think the police station did the trick, but this at least puts MY mind at ease!
This is a window alarm. If he opens his window a very loud alarm goes off and you have to have a key to turn it off! To help scare him a little more, we also told him that it would shock him like the fence in the backyard if he trys to open the window.
We have an electric fence around the fence and house in the backyard to keep the dogs from digging. Since Bryce is one of those that has to learn for himself - hands on - he did not believe us that the fence shocks. That is until he touched it. It does not have a continuos flow of electricity - thank goodness for him! It shocked him, he jumped said it hurt and won't do it anymore - not even when his brothers tell him to!
Now, he seems to be basically scared of the window. Hopefully he won't feel daring anytime soon and try for himself to see if it shocks!
