Not too long ago Caleb got irritated when we got lots of comments while we were out (about the size of our family, all boys, etc). That has all changed now. We still get lots of comments, maybe more now than before, but they are more like "you finally got your girl" or "I hope that one is a girl".
For the last few days it has seemed to annoy Caleb that Mady gets all the comments and they don't. Yesterday while we were shopping for their clothes I was holding Mady. A woman asked if we finally got our girl. After she walked off Caleb says "We need more comments, Mady is catching up with us."
I explained that by people making comments like "you finally got your girl" they were not only commenting on HER but the fact that it took having four boys to get that one girl. Not sure if that helped or not, but it was the best I could come up with!
