The last couple of weeks, Andrew has really been getting into everything. We have been letting him test his boundaries, but at the same time telling him no. We usually have to "swat" him (we just tap his hand with one finger) several times on the hand before he gets it.
After a few times of this, he started using his lips to get his way. The first time you tell him no, he bows his head. Then he slowly trys to do what he was doing - while still bowing his head. The second time, he keeps his head bowed and sticks out his bottom lip ( he can REALLY stick it out there). The third time, he sits down and starts crying a very pathetic forced cry.
It is so cute that we are usually trying not to laugh at him.
He is gives lots of hugs and kisses now. He has a very strong hug - two arms, tight squeeze - I LOVE IT!! His kisses...they are the great big, open mouth, slobbery kisses that would be really gross if it was anyone other than him!
AND RASPBERRIES! He has figured out how to give us raspberries.
THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN A BABY GIVING LOVE!!
