It took two days of Daddy and Caleb working on this project, but they completed it. It was optional for most of the school to do a science fair, but because Caleb is in GT, he HAD to do one. It was worth two test grades in his class (presentation of the project was one grade and completion of the project was another). They worked very hard and Caleb got third place in the third grade. He was upset because only the first two places continue on, but I don't think third out of more than 25 (there are 25 kids just in his class plus all of the others that CHOSE to do one).
He was actually given the oppurtunity to move on becuase the kid that won second did not want to go. Caleb was all ready to go, but decided that the school carnival (which is on the same day - HOW UNFAIR!!!) seemed more fun than the science fair. It was a hard decision for him because he is really into science!
