Are You Kidding Me?

Well, it is official. Our kids will never believe us about the weather again. We told them when we moved here to never expect to see snow again. Then, our first winter in Louisiana and we got over 8 inches, which was a record breaker. We told them "it was a freak snow storm. Don't expect that every year."

Wouldn't you know it:

SNOW!! It started out with a CHANCE of snow over night. Then it was snow with minor accumulation. At noon news today it was 1-2 inches and the snow had moved into Houston sooner and thicker than expected. Then by 3 it was 2-4 inches of accumulation and the temperature was rapidly dropping.

It started snowing a lot earlier than they thought it would and it has been sticking to everything other than concrete. The boys are SO excited to go out. I went in the older twos room and they were sitting in their window watching it. Then Caleb went and woke up Bryce (his "oldest brother duty" as my brother would tell you). Bryce was all ready to go out and play in his underwear in the snow. Then I pulled a smooth move and told him to go ahead. He looked outside and went back to bed. Guess it didn't look THAT exciting!

More pics of kids playing in it tomorrow!

Update (a few minutes after I posted this): I just THOUGHT Bryce went back to bed. He just came out completely dressed down to the rubber boots ready to go play in the snow!
