School has been cancelled for tomorrow "just in case." We have a chance of 1 or 2 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. That means either we will get nothing or we will get a foot of snow :) That is just the way it normally works. But the weathermen always make a point of saying it is VERY hard to predict down here because everything has to work out "just right" for us to get snow.
Honestly, this is just God's sense of humor at work. We told the kids not to expect to see snow at home when we moved down here. That year they got the most snow they had gotten in over 20 years. This will be our second snow this season. I guess I should tell them to expect snow every year and then it won't snow!!
If I am lucky the two Mississippi bridges will be closed due to ice on the road. That means Daddy will have to stay home and we can have a family day stuck inside!
The boys don't go back to school until next Wednesday. They have Monday and Tuesday off for Mardi Gras. Oh, the benefits of living in Louisiana!! There aren't many, so we take what we can get!
