Some New Things with Mads

Mady played dress up and at one point she had the necklaces on the dog. She loves Beaux, and Beaux loves her right back!

She decided to fix her hair the other day....with some apple juice!

Mady has become quite the chatter bug. When she talks she points to what I assume is what she is talking about, she uses facial expressions, she looks you in the eye and she just chatters away (of course rarely can you understand what she is saying). Last week she said "I love you" for the first time. I was the only one that heard it and I could not get her to repeat it. The other night when she was going to bed Isaac gave her a hug and kiss and told her he loved her. She responded with "I love you!" MADE ISAAC'S DAY!! She still does not say it much, but she was getting into stuff yesterday and I said "Is Mady being a bad girl?" She looked at me, smiled and said "I love you. Bad Girl!"

We have a bookshelf in our living room that has the kids books on it. Mady tends to usually pull out the pink books if she wants us to read her a story. Last week we checked some books out at the library (she got her own library card). She checked out a few books, but there are two books that she always brings to us to read to her and if we are not reading them she is sitting on the floor looking at them. They are Do Princesses Scrape Their Knees? and Do Princesses REALLY Kiss Frogs? both by Carmela LaVigna Coyle. It is neat to see her already have some favorite books (and they are not even pink!)

The HAIR!!!!!!! Love it!

Isn't it sweet, the memories you'll have of your funny little girl. The bad little girl that she is. ;)
